Sagitta rocket

The Sagitta launcher is a simple methane-oxygen launch vehicle that makes use of the tanks designed for the Shinkansen system. In its single core version, it can launch the Lynx orbital spacecraft with its launch escape system and a low Earth orbit propellant load in the service module (not the full load used for lunar
missions).

The first stage has one complexity, though – since it borrows tanks from another system, it actually has two separate common bulkhead tanks (that is, two methane and two oxygen volumes) of different sizes (a small one on top of a large one). One positive of this, though, is that when additional Sagitta cores are added as boosters, the central core can be extended by exchanging a large tank for the smaller one.
